Holiday Celebration at Union Station
Featuring a 40-foot-tall Christmas tree, Union Station is the perfect spot to enjoy the holiday season with the family. Lights and ornaments decorate the freshly cut tree, which proudly stands in the main hall, and giant wreaths hang above the entrances.
Ice Skating at Crown Center
Lace-up your skates and take in the picturesque sights at the Crown Center Ice Terrace, recognized by USA Today as one of America’s top ice-skating rinks. Skate rentals, lessons and private parties are available.
Winter Magic at Swope Park
Make your way through Winter Magic at Swope Park, a mesmerizing drive-through display featuring a mile of lights. Proceeds benefit KC Parks improvement projects.
Christmas In the Park
Thanksgiving week marks the return of Christmas in the Park, a festive drive-through display in Longview Lake Park with more than 500,000 lights. The event is free, but donations are accepted to benefit local charities.
Festival of Lights at Powell Garden
Stroll the glowing paths of Powell Gardens during the Festival of Lights, returning for its fifth season. New this year is a holiday-themed tiki bar, plus several new and captivating light installations.
